Description:
The file provides analyses of whole-rock chemistry, sample locations, and lithologies on 1,445 volcanic rock samples collected from 1978 through 2005. Originally released 2004. Updated version released 2008. Most of the samples are from the Columbia River Basalt Group; others are from rocks in the Snake River Group, Potlatch volcanics, Kamiah volcanics, Seven Devils volcanics, and undivided basalt and andesitic dikes. Data were compiled in an Excel spreadsheet, version 9.0.x, and downloaded here as a WinZip file. Available only as a download. See (DAD-4) for additional analyses. A metadata file is included in Acrobat Reader (PDF) format.
