DD-9 is published as a downloadable package and as an interactive web application at http://www.idahogeology.org/webmap/. The Idaho Geological Survey does not guarantee DD-9 data to be free of errors nor assume liability for interpretations made from this data, or decisions based thereon. General reference info: DD-9-Database of Select Aggregate Material Sources for Idaho. Tate, Christopher A., Virginia S. Gillerman, Loudon R. Stanford. 2015. Idaho Geological Survey. There are no use restrictions for DD-9 data. The download bundle includes this README.txt document, AggDB_Metadata.pdf, AggregateHelp.pdf, a shapefile, an AggDB.mxd map file, and the AggDB_1.2015.1.mdf database that can be fully utilized using Microsoft Access and/or ESRI's ArcGIS 10 and later (as of this date). Each of these products may contain unique metadata, and should be consulted. Metadata appropriate to the Aggregate web application apply. ################################## ################################## NOTE: The DataDictionary table in the database may be of paticular interest for experienced, as well as novice, users of relational databases. It describes tables and fields in the database, as well as datatypes. However, tables created as integral for ESRI geodatabase structure, including featureclasses, are not detailed but may or may not be noted as such. The table PrimaryPoints was used to derive the featureclasses, and maybe be considered reference for these. PrimaryPoints was replaced in the database by the featureclass tables. Please use the contact info above to report any errors or omissions. A printout of the DataDictionary as it is shown in Access Design View is provided in AggDB_Metadata.pdf for reference. ################################## ################################## Windows 7 Pro SP1 ArcGIS 10.2.2 Windows Office Suite 2013 In addition to this document, there is the document AggDB_Metadata.pdf which is a compilation of exports from ArgGIS and Access. These exports include a featureclass-level North American Profile of ISO19115 2003 metadata export, a diagram of table relationships, and a printout of the DataDictionary table. In the database are two metadata tables: the DataDictionary table that summarizes all tables and fields, and a ProceduralNotes table that describes some of the processes of database modification and data manipulation. The README.txt file includes the metadata under this section of this document. All support documentation is available in the download bundle. Several online sources were used to compile attribute information in ArcGIS. The metadata for the respective files obtained from these sources should be consulted: 20150608 CAT GIS Data collected for Aggregate Database ********************************* ZIP code layers from ESRI http://www.idl.idaho.gov/maps-land-records/data-download.html ********************************* 24K Quad from ESRI http://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=4bf2616d2f054fbe92eadcdc9582a76 ********************************* County Boundaries from IDWR http://www.idwr.idaho.gov/ftp/gisdata/Spatial/AdministrativeBoundaries/Counties/ ********************************* Watershed data from IDWR http://www.idwr.idaho.gov/ftp/gisdata/Spatial/Watersheds/ ********************************* PLSS data from BLM http://www.geocommunicator.gov/shapefilesall/CadNSDI/ID_CadNSDI.zip ********************************* Surface Rights Management data for Idaho derived from BLM data http://cloud.insideidaho.org/webApps/metadataViewer/default.aspx?path=\\intranet.rocket.net\insideprod\data\anonymous\blm\RLTY_SMAMultipart_PUB_24K_POLY.shp.xml ********************************* Internal IGS shapefile used to derive 100K quad names. ********************************* The .mxd and database supplied in the downloadable DD-9 bundle are copies of the files that drive the Aggregate web application at the date of this document.
